🎨 Preparing Your Artwork for Shirt Printing To ensure the best quality prints, please follow these guidelines when submitting your design files:
-
✅ Use Vector File Formats
For shirt printing, we recommend vector artwork, which allows us to scale your design without losing quality. Accepted file formats include:
- (Adobe Illustrator)
- (Encapsulated PostScript)
- (High-resolution, vector-based only)
❗ Note: Raster files like JPEG, low-resolution PNG, or low-resolution PDFs are not suitable for professional screen printing unless specifically approved.
📐 Design Quality & Resolution
- 300 DPI or higher is recommended
- to prevent font issues. (In Illustrator: Select text → Right click → Create Outlines)
🎨 Color Separation
- each color on a separate layer to simplify the screen setup process.
- include registration marks to help with precise alignment during printing.
🗂 File Naming Tips
- clear, descriptive filenames, such as:
school_spirit_shirt_front.ai
team_logo_blue_layer.eps
church_event_2025_vector.pdf
Avoid generic names like "design1.ai" or "finalfinal.pdf" to reduce confusion during setup.
- (Adobe Illustrator)
